A message from our Silver Sponsor, AIDT

AIDT is proud to be introducing Bisazza as its first 2020 iSalone tour sponsor. Renowned worldwide as a top luxury brand for the design sector and the industry’s leading producer of glass mosaics for interior and exterior decoration, Bisazza will welcome AIDT attendees to its Foundation located in Montecchio Maggiore.

Established by Renato Bisazza in 1956 in Montecchio Maggiore, near Vicenza in Northern Italy, the company utilised its dynamic entrepreneurial spirit, mastery of modern technologies and ability to read and anticipate the needs of a global market to become the trailblazer it is today. Bisazza’s distribution network currently includes four flagship stores located in London, Milan, New York and Paris, together with 2800 local retailers around the world.

Bisazza’s brand strategy is based on offering a wide range of luxury décor and furnishing solutions that are suitable for a variety of living and outdoor areas, to allow an expression of unique style that combines the elements of fashion and design with a contemporary flair.

The company has made a point of working in partnership with a range of internationally renowned designers and has produced a number of unique collections as a result of these intense collaborations. These leading figures include Tord Boontje, Campana Brothers, Aldo Cibic, Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel, Sandro Chia, Carlo Dal Bianco, Tom Dixon, Romeo Gigli, Michael Graves, Jaime Hayon, Ferruccio Laviani, Alessandro Mendini, Paola Navone, Greg Natale, Nendo, India Mahdavi, Fabio Novembre, Fabrizio Plessi, Andrée Putman, David Rockwell, Ettore Sottsass, Studio Job, Patricia Urquiola, Kiki van Eijk, Edward Van Vliet, Marcel Wanders and the EMILIO PUCCI fashion house.

Since 2005, Bisazza has been part of Altagamma, an association of Italian companies operating at the highest end of the market. In 2006, the company launched “Home”, its first collection of furniture and home accessories that combined mosaics with other luxury materials. Bisazza Bagno, a new division created in 2011, is dedicated to the production and distribution of bathroom collections. 2015 marked the debut of the Bisazza Cementiles collection, a new line featuring a contemporary, sophisticated interpretation of traditional cement tiles. 2016 saw the launch of “Wood”, its first collection of decorated parquet in oak designed by Studio Job, Kiki van Eijk and Edward van Vliet.

Last year, Bisazza presented Marmo, a new collection of polychrome decorative patterns made from marble and inspired by traditional stone flooring.

The Bisazza Foundation, a new cultural space dedicated to contemporary design and architecture, was inaugurated in June 2012. In addition to featuring works and installations from internationally-celebrated designers, the Foundation halls also host a series of temporary exhibitions from renowned museums and institutions around the world.
