KBDi_Katherine SiketaThis beautifully detailed bathroom by designer Katherine Siketa (Smarter Bathrooms and Kitchens) has been nominated as a finalist in the KBDi Designer Awards 2017 Small Bathrooms Victoria category.

Katherine has created a crisp, clean and classically styled space for her clients, and her attention to detail is evident. We especially love the fine lines of the vanity unit; the 8mm square edge porcelain top has been artfully executed with a Dekton favourite.

‘Doomos’ is part of the Dekton Solid Collection, and its application in this bathroom is flawless. A key feature of the Dekton product is its colour stability; the manufacturing process allows the pigmentation and decoration of the material to offer a long lasting product that won’t fade, so Katherine’s clients can expect this bathroom to stand the test of time!

Alongside its obvious aesthetic qualities, Dekton has a long list of features that make it a perfect choice in the bathroom. With a high resistance to every-day stains and easy-to-clean qualities, Dekton is a great low maintenance alternative for a well-used space.

While Katherine’s design features an 8mm profile, Dekton is also available in thickness of 12mm and 20mm; its dimensional stability minimizes the need for on site corrections and allows easy installation.

We wish Katherine the best of luck at the KBDi Designer Awards Gala to be held in Adelaide on 16 September.
