Long-time KBDi Member, Betty-Jo Bleakley, has hit the road on a Rural Design Tour, and she’s inviting you to join her on her journey.

Betty-Jo kicked off her tour with a presentation at the Queensland Remote, Rural and Regional Women’s Network conference in Kingaroy. She’ll spend the next ten weeks travelling from Kingaroy to Roma and Rocky (with a few stops in between) before trekking back to her home-town Toowoomba.

Betty-Jo will be setting up a pop-up stand in a number of regional and rural locations, offering a complimentary design service (‘Ask an Expert’ style) in an attempt to bring some colour and joy to some struggling outback communities. With thanks to some generous supporters, Betty-Jo will be raffling donated goods to raise money for drought-affected districts, and we commend her on her efforts!

Follow Betty-Jo’s journey here, and #beinspired by some beautiful Queensland outback scenes along the way!
