Silicone sealant fills the gap between horizontal and vertical finishes (benchtops and splashbacks, wall tiles and floor tiles etc.), and prevents moisture from being trapped in joins (between an inset sink and the underside of a bench, for example). In this Technical Bulletin, we set out items that should always be considered when selecting, applying and maintaining silicone sealant.
