Having spent the first part of my career in the fashion industry, both in Australia and overseas, I switched to interior design more than 25 years ago. This was a natural progression because I have always loved design and being able to help clients realise their vision for their home or work spaces is such a priviledge. My strong belief is that interiors should reflect the personalities and lifestyles of their occupants and I like working collaboratively with clients to include their wishes. Timeless, comfortable interiors are my ‘signature’, as are natural, textural materials and earthy colours. I love to include existing pieces such as artwork, artefacts or vintage furniture and these will often be the starting point of a new look that is both contemporary and truly reflective of the client’s lifestyle. It’s also important to me that interiors reflect their location whether it be by the coast, in the country or a more urban setting.
