Alfresco rangehoods are perfectly designed for excessive smoke, odours and grease particles created by a typical Australian BBQ.  As alfresco dining areas and living spaces become increasingly popular in Australian design & architecture, the main drawback is having proper ventilation. Not only is this important in keeping the space hygienic for your guests, but for longevity of the exterior paint and architecture. Additionally, a BBQ rangehood undoubtedly creates a stunning statement for the alfresco area.

For the most efficient, functional dining experience there is the option of choosing a rangehood that is silent. Silent rangehoods are the specialty of Schweigen, being the industry leaders for over 10 years. Schweigen’s Alfresco Rangehoods include silent, in-built motor models, wallmount styles and undermounts. Enjoy the hum of family and friends’ laughter and conversation whilst cooking and cooking in a smoke and odour free space.

Schweigen’s Top 2 Tips when considering a BBQ rangehood:

Air flow/motor speed – BBQ cooking is heavier and creates considerably more smoke to traditional cooking, therefore you will need to choose a rangehood that comes with a high speed of cubic metres of air per hour (minimum 2200 m3/h)

Ducting – BBQ Rangehoods must be ducted where possible. All Schweigen BBQ Rangehoods include ducting and is inclusive of the final cost. Most rangehood companies do not supply their ducting and is an extra cost.
